I read "War Is A Racket" while I was in the Corps about a year before I was set to be discharged and this furthered my resolve to leave the military. I signed up wanting to become a knight in shining armor only to realize I was a storm trooper. Sometimes I try to explain the reality of things to friends or family who have "served" but it just goes over their heads.
The more advanced warfare technology becomes the less wars are won and the less freedoms there are at home. To me this is a huge indication that this, "Fighting for our freedoms" narrative is false.
Thanks for this. I was in college when the draft lottery was active, fell behind by 4 units, was number 11 in the lottery and they tried to draft me. I had a roommate at the time that was number 364, so he never had to think about it again. When I was in high school I did a research paper my junior year on Vietnam since it was mainstream news. Encyclopedias were common then and still had a lot of true information, so I found out about the history of Vietnam and realized that the fighting for freedom line was bullshit. The French weren’t there for that and neither was the U.S. Corporation. There was no way I was going to get my ass blown off or kill for a bankers’ resource war. I had a good friend that knew it was bullshit too, but he was finally arrested by the FBI and given the option to go to jail or in the army and he chose the army, and luckily ended up in Germany for 2 years drinking beer. Younger people have no idea how ruthless the draft system was. You’re just a piece of meat to the psychopaths running this shitshow. Cheers
This is my 3rd attempt at putting in a note. Things just to drop/go away. I’m so tired of all that is occurring. I’ve been awake for 3 1/2 years. How can this be? When I first started learning, I thought, no way. It was then confirmed multiple times by multiple truthers. It is good vs. evil. I’ve taken in a few articles on this site and am sadly thinking again, of all of the lies we have been told for so many years. I’m separated from the one I love because I’m “crazy”. I’m one of those “Qanon” people. So tired, but working to maintain my faith.
It can be a shock to realise what is/has been going on in the world until this point. Everything I once believed has been upended as layers upon layers of deceit are stripped away and the lies are revealed. But it's ultimately a spiritual war, and the evil cabal has no chance against the Creator. We are on the right side!
It's a badly kept secret that the US even threatened to invade, and cut off Marshall aid to, the Netherlands if they wouldn't give up Indonesia, under JFK. The US is a lethal toxin for world peace. They are the one constant variable in almost any war.
